Editorial Policy
The standards behind how Bespoke Shoppers researches, writes, and updates its content.
Our commitment
Bespoke Shoppers exists to help readers make better decisions about boutique fashion and handmade goods. Our editorial policy explains how we pursue accuracy, fairness, and transparency.
Sourcing and research
We research each topic using a mix of brand documentation, maker interviews, material specifications, sizing charts, return policies, and verified customer feedback. When we have not physically handled a product, we say so. We do not fabricate first-hand testing or credentials.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made independently of advertising and affiliate partners. Commercial relationships are disclosed. Brands do not get to approve or alter articles as a condition of coverage.
Accuracy and corrections
We strive to be accurate at publication and we review content periodically. If you spot an error, email Lorraine at [email protected]. We will investigate and correct confirmed errors promptly, and we will note significant corrections.
Updates
We may update articles to reflect new information, price changes, discontinued products, or improved context. The updated date will be revised when we make meaningful changes.
Language and tone
We avoid hype, fear-based selling, and vague claims. We prefer specifics: materials, construction methods, fit notes, care instructions, and realistic price ranges.
Coverage requests
Makers and brands may pitch us. We evaluate pitches on relevance to our readers and our ability to research the subject properly. A pitch does not guarantee coverage, and coverage is never sold as editorial.
